Flexco products that have received this industry-leading certification meet rigorous, third-party chemical emissions standards. These low-emitting products help to reduce indoor air pollution and create healthier indoor environments.
Developed by the Resilient Floor Covering Institute, FloorScore is one of the most widely accepted and respected indoor air quality certification standards for flooring. It tests flooring products within a specific environment for potentially harmful chemical emissions.
FloorScore certification ensures Flexco product emissions are below the maximum allowable concentration of certain VOCs.
This assessment certifies the sustainability and environmental performance of resilient floors across their entire life cycle.
Flooring products are considered for their product design, manufacturing, long-term value, end-of-life management, corporate governance and innovation.
Health Product Declarations (HPDs) ensure products don’t include hazardous chemicals based on the GreenScreen for Safer Chemicals and additional lists from other government agencies.
An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) enables manufacturers to document the effects of their products on the environment throughout their entire lifecycle.
UL Solutions certifies that all information in a manufacturer’s EPD is verified and accurate.
Many of our products are manufactured with recycled content or, thanks to our IMPACT program, can be upcycled into other materials at the end of their useful life.

This initiative encourages transparency in manufacturing and selecting building materials. The establishment of the Common Materials Framework (CMF) is supportive of companies producing and specifying products that support human health, climate health, ecosystem health and social health and equity within a circular economy.
